Way back in 2017, Katie found herself at the doors of 1 Benton Terrace for Steven’s expert advice on how to actually like her smile (resulting in a subtle lip enhancement), and two years later she was employed.

With a Bachelors degree in English Literature and Creative Writing, Katie was initially on a path towards teaching, but she soon redirected to focus on hospitality and retail. 

In 2019, Novellus took her on part time to answer a few emails and coordinate diaries, but she had other ideas. After 2 months of revamping the customer journey, Dr Steven was forced to take her on full time to coordinate the clinic and his training commitments. 

For 6 years she has been holding your hands, bringing you sugary snacks, and asking to see photos of your pets. Katie has truly dedicated herself to this business and its’ patients; consistently (gently) bullying Dr Steven into introducing new treatments or pathways; allowing her to flex her creative muscles by creating literature for the business or re-writing the website (yes, writing about myself in third person is unnerving, thanks for asking); and supporting her team and patients with tailored needs throughout the years.
